Opeyemi Aiyeola drags Eniola Badmus for mocking her hair

Nollywood actresses Opeyemi Aiyeola and Eniola Badmus are at war!

Opeyemi publicly called out Eniola Badmus for what she described as a disrespectful and insensitive comment on her Instagram post.

The brouhaha started after Eniola commented under a video of Opeyemi, writing, “Ope, where is your front hair??” — a remark that many interpreted as body shaming.

In a lengthy video response, Opeyemi didn’t hold back, expressing deep disappointment that the comment came from someone like Eniola, who has herself been a past victim of online ridicule and body shaming.

“I understand that there are people on social media who act like animals in human form, but I have chosen to respond to you, Eniola Badmus, because I expected better,” she said. “You, of all people, who used to be the face of ridicule and body shaming online, should know how hurtful such comments can be.”

Opeyemi pointed out that Eniola rarely engages with her content, neither liking nor commenting on her posts, yet chose to surface with a comment she believes was meant to mock her appearance. She questioned the intent behind Eniola’s remark and accused her of lacking empathy, conscience, and genuine love for others.

“You see yourself in the mirror and call yourself beautiful, but what is beauty if it comes from a place of ignorance and cruelty?” she asked. “You have revealed your true self to the world.”

The actress also criticized Eniola’s public image, especially considering her position of influence and recent political involvement, saying that such behavior is unbecoming of someone who young people look up to.

Ending her video, Opeyemi thanked her loyal supporters for loving and accepting her just as she is, regardless of her physical appearance.

“Even if I lose an arm tomorrow or my appearance changes, I know I am still loved by real people who see beyond the surface.”
