Nigeria currently on life support, needs prayers to survive – Imam, Oloyede

Professor Abdulrahman Oloyede, the Chief Imam of the University of Ibadan, has stated that Nigeria is currently on life support, Charmingpro reports.

Oloyede, an Arabic and Islamic studies professor, explained that the only way for citizens to resuscitate the country is to increase their prayers in order to prevent its total collapse.

Oloyede made these remarks on Saturday, shortly after leading thousands of Muslim faithful to the obligatory 2-Rakah Eld-Kabir prayer at the University of Ibadan Eld prayer ground.

After the prayer, the don told journalists that the current crop of political leaders had failed the country because they had lost control.

He stated that Nigerians should continue to pray for leaders who will save the country.

He explained that the Eld-Kabir festival is intended to demonstrate total submission to God, who created humans.
