NDLEA arrests Turkey-bound businesswoman with drug concealed inside foodstuff at Abuja airport

Mrs. Pamela Odin, a 31-year-old businesswoman, attempted to traffic 2.150kg tablets of rohypnol through the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, NAIA, Abuja, to Istanbul, Turkey, but was foiled by NDLEA agents, Charmingpro reports

 

According to NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi, the mother of one was apprehended on Friday, September 23rd, while attempting to board a Turkish airline flight with the drug hidden inside pepper and packed among foodstuff.

 

The native of Afiesere village, Ughelli North Local Government, Delta State, stated that she owns a restaurant in Istanbul, Turkey, but came to Nigeria to visit relatives and purchase food for her business.
