The Nasarawa State House of Assembly on Friday passed the N402.5 billion 2025 Appropriation Bill.

Charmingpro recalls that Governor Abdullahi Sule had on November 29 presented a budget of N382.5 billion to the Assembly for consideration.

The House, however, increased the ‘Budget of Economic Growth and Stability’ by N20 billion.

The Speaker of the House, Danladi Jatau, attributed the increase in the budget to the current economic situation and inflation in the country.

“This House approved the upward review of the budget size by N20 billion to enable government meet with the current economic realities in the country.

“The sum of N402.5 billion has been passed by this assembly as the budget for 2025. The budget covers N166.4 billion for recurrent expenditure and N236.2 billion will go into capital expenditure.

“This appropriation bill, if assented to by the governor will enable the government execute people’s oriented projects for the overall development of the state,”Jatau said
