Naira Marley, real name Afeez Fashola, has threatened to sue Iyabo Ojo, a Nigerian actress, for N500 million.
In a letter to Iyabo, Naira Marley, through Olalekan Ojo (SAN) & Co., accused the singer’s Instagram account of being the source of malicious and inaccurate content.
According to the letter, Iyabo accused Naira Marley of having spiritual and physical contact with the late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, in an Instagram post that was posted in September 2023.
The singer’s attorney further asserted that the actress had accused his client of mentally torturing Mohbad.
The lawyer representing Naira Marley asked that the actress publish an apology on her official Instagram account and in a national daily within 7 days of receiving the letter.
They said failure to do so would result in them commencing legal proceedings and they will demand damages of N500 million from the actress.
