Popular Nigerian celebrity actress and reality TV star, Iyabo Fespris Ojo, has revealed that her late mother suffered from mental illness and her father was a drug addict.
The mother of two made the shocking revelation in an interview with celebrity media personality, Toke Makinwa.
According to Iyabo Ojo, she grew up without parental care, even though she never lacked anything, as her grand parents were rich.
Iyabo reveled that her grand mother took care of her, as her mother left after she refused treatment for her mental health, insisting it was a spiritual problem.
She revealed she knew her mother when she was about 13, after her grandmother introduced both of them to each other.
She also added that her father squandered his inheritance on drugs as “he was a spoilt rich kid”. He would later suffer from kidney and liver problems.
