Actor Jide Kene has shared his thoughts following Regina Daniels’ emotional video online.
In a post shared on his Instagram story, he said staying silent in situations like this is “wickedness,” adding that what Regina is reportedly going through is “inhumane.”
He wrote:
“Silence they say is golden.
But Igbo people have an adage that only a wicked elder will keep quiet when things are not going well.
I am no elder but what Pa Ned is doing to this young lady he married at 17 and has two kids is nothing short of inhumane.
This is black slavery and oppression.
Even worse is how this is not a matter on the senate floor yet.”
In his caption, he continued:
“Things are really falling apart. Marriage is not by force.
Watching this unfold breaks my heart. Coming from a background where men believed they ‘owned’ their wives, I must say to everyone supporting or joking about this — may it never come to you.
I’m praying for Regina and for anyone going through the same.”

Reacting to his post, one bitcoin__mogul wrote, “This is a married couple’s matter. That is why it’s taking this long to caution the man, Some people are afraid to speak out now, because the next thing we might hear from the young lady is that she’s still in love with her husband. You see, people shouldn’t really be so quick to comment or put mouth on marital issues. If it was a boyfriend-girlfriend situation, it would be a different story.”
Maureen_mimidoo wrote, “What I don’t understand is, why insisting to be the one to take her to rehab? If she doesn’t want to, leave her alone and let the family do it. Except there’s something we don’t know.”
gwacyb wrote, “Whatever you do in life, whoever you meet and however you meet them, always remember that nobody truly cares. People can see how useful you are from a mile away and will do anything to have you. And eventually, you reach an age where you realize you’ve been used all along. Be careful!”
noma_nicole wrote, “honestly.. its inhumane! the man acs like while growing up, the girls he likes rejected him a lot. this kind of anger and obsession is not ordinary..its from suppressed pain”
