The Kaduna State Police Command has asked members of the public whose motorcycles were seized or confiscated by its operatives to come for identification and collection.

The Command made the announcement in a statement by ASP Mansir Hassan, its spokesman.

The statement said, “Owners who are certain that their motorcycles were seized during this time frame are advised to visit the Operation Yaki office with all necessary documents to facilitate the release of their property.”

The retrieval process would commence on the 20th of March, 2024, and will last for a duration of two weeks at the Operation Yaki Office situated at Constitution Road, Kaduna.

“It is imperative for affected individuals to present complete documents of the vehicle, before it can be released to them,” the statement explained.

It said that after the expiration of the two-week retrieval window, the police would no longer entertain complaints regarding seized motorcycles.

The Command urged residents to take advantage of the opportunity within the stipulated timeframe
