This was revealed this morning in a post on his Instagram page. He claimed that the last two years of their marriage had been extremely difficult, and that he had moved out because Funke had asked him to.

“Dear Friends and Family,” I regret to inform you that Funke and I are no longer married. We went through a lot together and had two beautiful children while it lasted. We’ve had a particularly trying two years. I tried everything I could think of to fix it, but I believe it is now beyond repair. I left the house three months ago at Funke’s request, and aside from AMVCA, I have not been able to persuade Funke to sit down and talk about the future of our relationship. This announcement is being made to make it clear to the public that we are both living separate lives. We still have issues to resolve, such as child custody and well-being, as well as business interests, but I have no doubt that these will be resolved one way or another.

For some time, it has been reported that their marriage is in trouble. Funke and JJC arrived separately at the most recent AMVCA award ceremony, but sat together and even went on stage to accept Funke’s award.

JJC’s son, Beni, has also hinted that the marriage is in trouble on social media.

Funke and JJC Skillz married in August 2016, and in 2018 they welcomed twins.
