Following his latest fete at the African Centre, London, on January 26, 2023, there is no gainsaying that there lies no boundaries for Europe’s very first African talking drummer and massive promoter of the African culture, Ayan De First.

The legendary entertainer continues to move from grace to grace, and his path keeps shining brighter and brighter in his quest to showcase the positives of African culture on a global level.

“What a great start to the new year 2023”, the elated Ayan De First declared, referring to his latest achievement.

Prior to this performance the famous drummer had twice entertained HRH King Charles III when he was the Prince of Wales.

The beauty of this performance is, it goes down in Mr Culture’s entertainment history making him the only performer to date, who has performed for  HRH Charles III in both his office as the Prince of Wales, and the King of England.  According to the iconic performer, “it was delightful to have performed for HRH King Charles III for the third time”.

Entertaining the King of The United Kingdom at an event is a great privilege, however, the icing on the cake for Mr Culture on this occasion was the public recognition accorded him by HRH King Charles III.

As shown in the video clip below, on arrival at the venue of the event, King Charles III having sighted the relentless performer, stopped for some minutes to acknowledge him and exchange pleasantries, starting with ‘I KNOW YOU, WE HAVE MET A FEW TIMES!.

In a chat with Maureen Layokun, the Publisher of Charming Magazine, Ayan De First said he felt both humbled and honoured by the open recognition by the Head of the Commonwealth, and this meeting will remain forever memorable to him.

Mr. Culture further expressed his passion and elation at positively representing Africa as a continent in the diaspora.  According to him, his live remains dedicated to promoting the African culture to the world, because that is his identity, his culture and his pride.
