The Maiden Edition of AFROEUROPA Gala Night was held on Saturday, 8th October 2022, at The King Edward Conference Hall, Holiday Inn Express, 713 Eastern Avenue, Newbury Park, London IG2 7RH.
Compered by MCs Kenny Osinowo and Abi Bada, it was an Interactive and fun-filled Event which provided a platform for networking and business development opportunities to guests.
Attendees, including community leaders, accomplished entrepreneurs, corporate individuals, and well-meaning members of the community were happy to Meet, Mingle & have a Merry Night with other positive-minded people from different ethnicities, as they celebrated diversity and social harmony in a relaxed and beautiful ambience.
There were loads of side attractions, including informative and entertaining activities to keep the guests engaged all night. These include –

- Fashion show by Kitted Fashion
- Short talks by expert speakers Dr. Lady Waynett Peters (CEO, The Extraordinary Achievers Awards), and Ms.Tokunbo Sonowo (HR Specialist & CEO, Suscito Ltd), on theme for the night – ‘IT TAKES TWO’!
- Music by the legendary Omo Whyte
- Comedy skit by Ace comedian – Don Nice
- Cultural/ Musical / Dance performances
- An assortment of Food & Drinks
- 360 Degrees Camera
- Raffle draw with brilliant prizes won by lucky ticketholders.
- Awards presentation to Chief Bimbo Roberts (Outstanding Leadership), Ayan De First – Mr Culture (African Cultural Ambassador in Diaspora), Ms Aina Omobare (Charitable Works/ Community Service through her NGO – Idia’s Community Kitchen).
Overall, it was an explosive event. At the end of the event, guests expressed their embrace of this initiative and joy of being a part of the maiden celebration of the trailblazing event – AFROEUROPA.
