Ifeanyi Ejiofor, Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has accused the Department of State Services, DSS, of denying access to the agitator’s legal team  Charmingpro reports

Ejiofor revealed that the DSS used flimsy excuses to deny Kanu’s legal team access to him during a routine visit.

Ejiofor stated in a signed statement that the secret police informed the legal team that the officials who were supposed to receive them were not at the facility.

“We were at the Department of State Services, DSS, headquarters for the Court-Ordered routine visit to our indefatigable client, Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, but we were unable to meet with Onyendu.”

“A DSS official informed us that Onyendu’s authorized handlers, who were supposed to receive the visiting team, were out of the facility on another official assignment.” As a result, the visit was canceled.

“This is not the first time we have been confronted with such flimsy justification for canceling our visit, but the visit has now been rescheduled for Thursday, July 21,” according to a portion of the statement.
