Ahead of Tuesday’s (today) friendly against New Zealand, Super Falcons captain, Onome Ebi has said the team is desperate to extend their unbeaten streak.

Randy Waldrum’s side will take on the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup co-hosts at the Mardan Sports Complex, Antalya.

The West Africans defeated Haiti 2-1 in another friendly last week.

It was the team’s second consecutive victories following the 1-0 win against Costa Rica in February.

The Super Falcons endured a barren run of seven games without a win before the win against Costa Rica.

Ebi stated that it is important for the team to keep the winning momentum going.

“We have to maintain the form that we have attained over the past two matches,” Ebi told thenff.com.

“It is important for us to keep up the momentum, to keep winning and know that we can always overwhelm our opponents. The spirit is back and we are determined to sustain it.”

Today’s encounter will kick-off at the 2pm Nigerian time
