FG’s N50b EEFP Coordinator, Maureen Ideozu Emerges 2022 ‘Export Innovator of the Year’

The Coordinator of Federal Government’s Fifty Billion Naira Export Expansion Facility Programme, EEFP, Mrs Maureen Ideozu has emerged 2022 ‘Export Innovator of the Year’ in forthcoming Leadership Excellence Awards.

In a nationwide online poll monitored by News Agency of Nigeria, Mrs Maureen Ideozu garnered 25, 549 votes to defeat other nominees, Lyambee Jime
13, 774 votes; Nasir Gwarzo, 9, 736 votes ;and
Adeniyi Adebayo 5, 635 votes.

The highly coveted award, endorsed by the African Union, African Film Institute, will be presented to her on 5th November, 2022 at the Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton, Abuja in a glamorous ceremony organised by IgbereTV, Africa’s foremost community TV.

In January 2021, Mrs Maureen Ideozu through EEFP, helped over 1,100 businesses including SMEs and women-led businesses to benefit N6bn grant and another N23bn disbursed as direct COVID-19 relief grants.

The beneficiaries through the grant expanded and diversified their businesses and have been appreciative of the innovation.

Apart from being a member of the faculty at the GOTNI Leadership Centre, Mrs Maureen Ideozu has established a career as a consultant in public administration reforms.

From 2011 to 2014, Maureen worked as Team Lead (Service Delivery) for the UK Department for International Development (DFID), Federal Public Administration Reform Programme (FEPAR).

At FEPAR, she led a team of National and International Consultants that provided technical support for the successful restatement of SERVICOM by the Federal Executive Council as well as the adoption of an institutional repositioning proposal for the Federal Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development. Her team also provided support to the Federal Ministry of Agriculture for the implementation of the Agricultural Transformation Agenda – specifically in relation to Gender Mainstreaming and beneficiary feedback of the Growth Enhancement System (GES).

IgbereTV media crew led by the Executive Director, Emeh James Anya visited her to formally inform her of the nomination and victory in the online poll.

During the visit, the team also conducted awardee post-profiling, photo session and presentation of her Table reservation for the event.
