The End SARs protesters in Nigeria reportedly made over 10 million nair in 30 hours from donations.
The donations were done by start ups in support of the course.
One of the pioneers of the protest took to Twitter to share details. He wrote:
“Startups have coughed out almost N10m to support #EndSarsProtests in 30 hours. Not just tweets, but an active costly support. That’s showing they care. Almost none have 1,000,000 active users on their products. Nigerian banks have 10m+ (+40% youths) users and still NO TWEET.”
