Nasiru Salisu bagged a brace as El-Kanemi Warriors defeated Abia Warriors 2-0 in the final of the President Federation Cup.
It was El-Kanemi Warriors third title in the history of the competition.
Salisu had a penalty saved in the ninth minute, before giving the Maiduguri club the lead two minutes after the half hour mark.
He doubled the lead 15 minutes from time.
Abia Warriors, who are playing in the final of the competition for the first time, were outplayed by Aliyu Zubairu’s side.
El-Kanemi will compete in the CAF Confederation Cup next season as part of their reward for winning the competition
