In the ongoing military operations against Ukraine, Russian soldiers are said to have marched into Kyiv, the country’s capital.
According to the BBC, Ukrainian officials reported on Friday that Russian forces were stationed in Kyiv’s northern sector.
Russian armoured vehicles were observed marching towards the capital city through the northern sector, according to the report.
President Zelensky of Ukraine has subsequently addressed the country, pleading with Putin to halt the attack and seek a truce to save the lives of both countries’ populations.
In a statement, the president barred males between the ages of 18 and 60 from leaving the country, citing Russian soldiers’ conduct as a source of global concern.
