On Monday, November 27, the state government of Lagos smashed 1500 motorcycles that had been seized. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, the state commissioner of transportation, and Wale Musa, the permanent secretary to the ministry, examined the crushing of the 1,500 confiscated bikes at the Lagos State Taskforce facility.

The state government banned the use of motorcycles in so parts of the state in 2022 and have since seized a number of motorcycles whose riders faulted the ban.
