Earlier is has been trending on social media, stating that the popular satellite television providers’ by name DSTV and GoTV have been hacked, which made all the channels accessable even without subscription.
But however, the allegation is nothing but a mere rumor, as they sent mails to all their subscribers, which state reasons behind the free access to all channels.
They sent mails informing them of upgrade exercise that will commence on October 17, 2020. So According to the mail sent by MultiChoice to all DSTV and GoTv subscribers, they stated that the upgrade will run from October 17, 2020 to October 19, 2020. It is necessary to improve the service delivery.
