After almost 2.5 years of marriage, Jeezy reportedly filed on Thursday, September 14th, in a courthouse in Atlanta. The rapper allegedly stated in the document that “the marriage is irretrievably broken” and “there is no hope for reconciliation.”
After more than two years of dating, Jeezy 45 and Mai 44 got married in 2021 and welcomed a daughter the previous year. When Jeezy visited Jeanie’s chat show “The Real” in 2018, they got to know one another. Following that, they started secretly dating before going public in 2019, getting engaged in March 2020, and being married in March 2021.
The ex-couple had a prenuptial agreement. Their 20-month-old daughter, Monaco, is the subject of Jeezy’s request for joint legal custody.
