Modestus Hyacinth Egbulefu, a 500-level student at Michael Okpara University Of Agriculture Umudike, MOUAU, Abia State, committed suicide after taking hard drugs in Ikwuano council area, Abia State, Charmingpro reports
According to Charmingpro, a student from the Department of Electrical/Electronic Engineering jumped from a three-story building known as Groom Base Lodge after allegedly taking “Mkpuru mmiri.”
This reportedly happened around 9:40 a.m. at the lodge, and students who were shocked by the incident tried in vain to revive him. He allegedly died on the spot before receiving medical attention.
His body was taken to an undisclosed mortuary in the area.
