If elected president, Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, has been chastised for insisting on transforming Nigeria from a consumption to a production economy, Charmingpro reports
Obi has been advocating for the urgent need to repair Nigeria’s economy and make it more beneficial to Nigerians.
Reno Omokri, a sociopolitical activist, likened Obi to Satan campaigning against sin.
Omokri claimed that the LP presidential candidate was Nigeria’s largest importer of consumer goods.
Omokri claimed in a series of tweets that Obi imports beer and alcoholic beverages while campaigning on making Nigeria a consumer nation.
“Peter Obi is the single greatest contributor to consumption in Nigeria,” says Omokri. He imports almost everything, including beer and alcoholic beverages.
“Yet he campaigns for Nigeria to shift from consumption to production?” It’s as if Satan is on a crusade against sin!
“Go to any major Nigerian supermarket. @PeterObi imported at least 15% of what you’ll see into Nigeria. It was not created.
“IMPORTED. If I’m lying, I dare Peter to sue me. And this is the man who wants Nigeria to shift from consumption to production?
