2023: I’m father of frustrated Nigerian youths – Obasanjo reveals solution to country’s challenges

Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo claims to be the father of frustrated Nigerian youths as a result of the country’s economic downturn, Charmingpro reports

According to a video circulating on social media, the ex-president made the claim during an interactive session with some young people led by Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, also known as Charly Boy.

Charly Boy, claiming to be the president of disgruntled Nigerian youths, asked Obasanjo to offer solutions to the youths’ current plight.

According to the singer, youths, including himself, are already dissatisfied, citing rising unemployment.

Speaking, Obasanjo blamed Nigerian leaders for the country’s economic woes, claiming that it is not the fault of God but of those in power.

He believes that the only way to effect change is to establish better governance through good leaders.

He expressed confidence in the youths’ ability to effect the desired change, saying, “There is nobody else who will do it but the youths.”

“You are the president of a generation of dissatisfied Nigerian youths, and I am their father.”

“It is not God’s fault that we are poor and frustrated; it is the fault of our leaders, and if you want to change that, change the situation, you must change leadership.” “Simple and straightforward.” Obasanjo also stated
