The nominees for the 16th edition of the Headies Awards’ voting and non-voting categories have been announced.
Burna Boy, a Grammy winner, garnered the most nominations on the list with a total of 11. The artist will compete against Davido, Rema, Asake, Omah Lay, and Victony in the Album of the Year category.
The prize given this year will also honor foreign performers that have established themselves in the Nigerian music scene.
Drake, Future, Selena Gomez, Don Toliver, and Ed Sheeran are among the contenders for the 2023 International Artiste of the Year category.
