The husband who strangled his wife in Suleja, Niger state, died as a result of complications from ingesting a poisonous substance.
Mr Adeniyi Jose of Akure, Ondo State, strangled and suffocated his wife of eight years, Chidinma Gloria Ibeh of Imo State, with a rope.

Following that, he ingested a poisonous substance known as sniper.
He was whisked away to Suleja General Hospital (read here).
According to an insider, he has passed away.

According to the insider, Mr Adeniyi Jose’s suspicion that his wife was unfaithful was unfounded.

They went on to say that Mr Adeniyi has always been a jealous husband who picks fights with his wife whenever he sees her with another man.
Because Adeniyi was unemployed, the wife was reportedly the family’s breadwinner.
The couple, who married in 2014, has a son.
