Hardship: I see no light for Nigeria under Tinubu – Momodu

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dele Momodu has expressed doubts over the capacity of the Bola Tinubu administration to turn things around for the good of the suffering masses.

The former presidential candidate and veteran journalist said he does not see the light at the end of the tunnel for Nigeria.

Appearing on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday, Momodu was speaking on the state of the nation and the current economic realities and the government’s promises to turn things around.

DAILY POST reports that the Minister of Budget Planning, Atiku Bagudu had recently said that the federal government was working hard to turn things around and to change the narrative, adding that efforts were being made to change the living condition of Nigerians.

However, Momodu said that such promises and sweet talks from politicians and political leaders were not new to him as he had listened to them over and over again.

“I’ve lived long enough in this country called Nigeria. I’ve listened to all the sweet talks by politicians. I have yet to see the sign of that light at the end of the tunnel,” he said.
