A South African church conducted a virginity test on unmarried female members and awarded a certificate of virginity to each female who passed, Charmingpro reports.

The test is said to be an attempt to encourage chastity among society’s ladies.

The Nazareth Baptist Church is located in Ebuhleni, a northern suburb of Durban, South Africa.

According to reports, the church performed a free virginity test on ladies aged 18 and up who attend their church.

The church administers virginity tests to female members and awards certificates of virginity to those who pass.

It is an annual event organized by the church, and at the conclusion of the exercise, a Certificate of Virginity is presented to the participant.
