Final-year students of Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana (AIFPU), are set to benefit from a practical Artificial Intelligence (AI) training designed to equip them with digital skills for career development, entrepreneurship, and content creation.

The event, titled “AI Studio: Creating Videos & Building Businesses with AI,” will hold on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the Polytechnic Auditorium, beginning at 11:00 a.m.

With the theme, “The Automated Graduate: Leveraging AI Tools for Career Success,” the programme aims to expose students to the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence across various industries and demonstrate how AI-powered tools can be used to create videos, build sustainable businesses, improve productivity, and enhance employability.

As Artificial Intelligence continues to reshape the global workforce, the organisers say the training will provide participants with practical knowledge and hands-on experience that will prepare them for opportunities beyond graduation. Students will learn how to harness AI technologies to develop marketable skills, generate income, and remain competitive in an increasingly technology-driven economy.

The organisers have announced that registration and attendance are completely free. However, participation is compulsory for all ND II and HND II students of the institution.

Students are encouraged to complete their registration using the link HERE and arrive at the venue on time.

The programme reflects a growing commitment to preparing graduates for the future of work by equipping them with the digital competencies needed to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape. Rather than waiting until after graduation to begin acquiring in-demand skills, students are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to begin building their careers with Artificial Intelligence.
