Nigerians have taken to social media to react to the story. One cupcakee09 wrote, “Forever grateful to my mum. Never allowed me to do makeup at a certain age , even when I started I made it mild and simple . Used the right moisturiser and no harsh chemical on my skin. Aye the right fruit and lived life according to my development as a growing child to an adult. These days , when I see young women focus on surgery and insecurity I just wish they had someone to walk them through. Even at 25 you are still developing as a human . Don’t be quick to do enhance you when you’re not fully developed for it”

One ezeh_official1 wrote, “Ok now we understand better, I pray you find peace ✌️ and also become ambassador for you to preached against it to other younger generations, so that they can learn from your own mistake.”

Thefoodnetworknig2 wrote, “You see all those yeye things you feel between ages 14-28 max and you think you’re so sure they are valid feelings, wait till you enter 35 fess, if you no regret am, call me a baskard “

_hoe_ells wrote, “Two lesbians can’t raise a child, they will impact their mindset to that child and make the child follow up their mentality and later grow up without knowing what he/she wants, the same goes to gay men raising a child. I call it imprisonment. Two gay men raising a male child and you expect that child to be straight man ?”

ababeandamistress wrote, “More people will come out to say this soon . set awon going through gender reconstruction surgery . i feel like a man in a womans body and i feel like a woman in a mans body and you are cutting off your private parts.”
