Hon. Omosanya Adeboye is an All Progressives Congress (APC) councillorship aspirant of Ward D Ayobo/Ipaja LCDA in Lagos State. In this exclusive interview with Adeleye Kunle, he talks about his past and present political records and how he has collaborated with relevant agencies and parastatals to make life better for the masses. Excerpts:
Can you tell the public your past and present political achievements and Collaborations?
For the past 10 years, I have been an active member of All Progressives Congress Party (APC). As a party loyalists, Have worked for the progress of our local political and togetherness of the youths in my ward, In and Out of Ayobo/Ipaja to offer services to our local community.
Also I’m the DG/National coordinator of Good Governance Ambassadors (GGA), The Lagos State Coordinator for Tinubu Media Team (TMM), The Ayobo/Ipaja LCDA Sanwoolu Ambassador Coordinator. Member of Independent Campaign Council (ICC) for Directorate of health and Emergency for Tinubu/Shettima and Sanwoolu/Hamzat as Secretary.
Member of Amalgamated APC Support group and Member of Consolidate APC Grassroots Movement (CAGRAM) as National Directorate for Event/ Protocols. The Contact and Mobilization For Asiwaju Progressive Forum (APF) and Asiwaju Distinguished Ambassador (ADAM).
I and my team mobilized and work without been tired for the emerging of Mr President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Babajide Olushola Sanwoolu which I also work as party agent for my polling unit 056 ODUNLAMI ESHO/AKINOLA and delivered 100%.
I was also charged with the duty of coming up with a strategy by liaising with the target group within the community and the members who were to carry out the project as grassroots Mobilizer before the election.
What’s your view as regards the current hardship Nigerians are facing?
As the government is putting in place economic policies, programmes and continues to experience tough time, it behooves individual communities to take stock of their own economic situation and follow a path to set their economic future.
One of the most effective methods of a community taking charge if its economic future is by implementing a grass-roots based economic and community development based strategic planning process that utilizes objective baseline socio-economic data to provide the community’s leaders (both elected and non-elected) with a firm foundation from which to analyze internal and external factors that affect a community’s future.
