Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State joined prominent traditional rulers and political figures at the opening ceremony and fundraising for the new Central Mosque Complex in Nasarawa town, Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
The event, held at the premises of the multi-million naira complex project, saw the Sultan of Sokoto, HRH Alhaji Saad Abubakar, the Emir of Kano, HRH Alhaji Aminu Ado-Bayero, and other northern traditional rulers in attendance.
Local traditional rulers such as the Emir of Lafia, Justice Muhammad Sidi Bage (retd), Andoma of Doma, HRH Alhaji Aliyu Ogah Onawo, and the Emir of Nasarawa, HRH Alhaji Ibrahim Jibril, were also present.
Political figures, including former governor of the state, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, Barrister Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, and Ahmad Shehu Tukur, graced the occasion.
The event featured donations towards the completion of the mosque complex and a two-rakat Juma’at prayer at the new mosque
