Former Nigerian female footballer, Chi Chi Igbe, also known as Chified, has opened up on how popular blogger, Linda Ikeji made her go into music.
This comes years after she dumped football.
The Charming Magazine recalls that Chi Chi Igbo use to play for Nigeria’s women team, The super falcons before she retired. She took to her Instagram page to share a video of her performing live and wrote;
“Humble beginnings … I been making music since 2011. ‘Rather be hated’ music video was a hit even though I never promoted it. Thanks to @officiallindaikeji for the motivation to go into music Cos I needed a way to tell the world to continue to keep my name in their mouths Cos I won’t change! I may not be perfect in the field but I got a voice and you MUST HEAR ME!
